Artist's Comments

Astrid is a Batchix sculpt and my representation of the Tardis... in a bot form. :3

I did a TON of work on her painting wise, covering her in Gallifreyan symbols. Some, if you are picky enough to look DO have meaning, others are made up according to the general design of the characters.

Her chest chassis says "Ten" in gallifreyan, since she IS supposed to be Ten's Tardis. She also has the symbol of Rassilon on her Torso and so on.

Eventually I want her to embody a bit more of the term "jiggery pokery" but for now, I think she has that semi ethereal "just dragged through space" look.

Anyway, she's in what I will consider the "spirit" of the Tardis and I love her to bits.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm excited to see what everyone does with them! I actually got Astrid a couple of weeks ago (she's #1) but... I didn't get around to posting her pics up here until now. >_<

I did! XD I'm actually the first one! ;) Though it took me a bit longer to get the shots up here. >>;

Thank you! I'm really happy with the results. Batchix gave me a TON to work with... and I LOVE it. She's such an amazing sculpt! Thank you! She took so much time to paint. XD but definitely worth it.
